Robert J. “Bob” Anderson, of El Paso, TX passed away August 1, 2022 from natural causes.
Robert was born on September 18, 1956, in Denver, Colorado to the parents of Leon L. Anderson, Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Retired and Mary J. Anderson.
Due to Robert’s father’s career in the military, he and his family lived in several states across America and abroad in Germany. By the time he was in high school, Robert found the where he wanted to live his adult years which was in Kansas City, Missouri. During those years, his career was in the lighting and sound industry for concerts, expos, rodeos and political debates. He had a fond interest in Harley Davidson motorcycles and this is where he received the nick name “Hippie” by his motorcycle club family. After Robert’s mother’s passing in 2008, he moved to El Paso, Tx, where his father was living.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Mary, in 2008, and his father, Leon, in 2022. He is survived by his siblings: Kirk M. Anderson (Melissa); Craig A. Anderson (Dorothy); Melisa A. Anderson; and Deborah L. Ray (Chuck) along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am with the Eulogy to follow at 10:30am, located Sunset West Funeral Home, 480 North Resler, El Paso, TX 79912.
