Robert Jon Bindley April 23, 1950 – September 14, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Jon Bindley, a wonderful father, grandfather, and proud veteran, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 75.
Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Robert dedicated his life to service, retiring as a Sergeant Major in the United States Army. His leadership, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to his country left a lasting impact on all who served alongside him.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Hubert Bindley, mother Mildred (Miller) Bindley, 6 brothers, 3 sisters and beloved wife, Yong Suk Bindley (Sukie). He is survived by his children: daughter Sonya (Bindley) Hohl and her husband Mark, son Sean Bindley and his wife Trischia, and stepdaughter Jennifer Saucedo. He was a proud grandfather to Nicholas Cloud, Alex Bruch, Kylie Hohl, Kaitlin Bindley, Jaxon Bindley, and Esperanza Saucedo (Espy) as well as his 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Military Memorial Service honoring Robert’s life and service will be held at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas, on September 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Robert will be remembered for his strength, his quiet wisdom, his sense of humor, and the love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
