Robert W. Crawford

Robert W. Crawford also known as RC to his friends went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2014. He was born in Bangor, Maine on October 2, 1935. He served in the U.S. Army over 20 years and retired as a SSG in El Paso, Texas. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart for his valor service during Vietnam. He was a member of Skyline Baptist Church. He loved to golf, bowl and play cards. RC was a generous man with a big heart.He gave to anyone in need. He loved his family and was always there for us. He lived his life to the fullest not allowing anyone or anything to slow him down. He would joke that he would sleep when he died. “Sleep well dad! We love you !!! He was preceded in death by his son Robert W.Crawford Jr. He is survived by his family Lucy Crawford, Sal Flores (Asila), Tony Flores (Jessica), Lety Flores, and Kathy DiChristina. He had 13 grandchildren Sal Flores III (Elisa), Michael Flores, Crystal Flores, Jackie Flores, Aaron Huckabay, Alex Morgan, Tierra Flores, Adriana Flores, Robert GriegoJr., Josh Griego, Italia DiChristina, Elijah DiChristina, and Arabella DiChristina.Visitation: 1:00pm to 3:00pm on January 19, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service: 8:15am on January 20, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Procession will depart at 9:00am from Sunset Funeral Home Northeast to Fort Bliss National Cemetery for Interment.
