Robert Giron

Robert Giron (9/24/1920-9/19/2021), the patriarch of the Giron family that goes back centuries in the El Paso del Norte area (now Texas), was preceded in death by his parents ( Casimiro E. and Josefina C.) and his siblings: Louis [Mary], Ernest [Ana], Leonard [Marie], Paul [Lucy], Lola [Johnny], and Olivia [Sam]. He is survived by his wife, Carmen V.,of 74 years of marriage and his four children Virginia (Jeannie) [Ernie], Robert LeRoy [Ken], Joseph A. [Lorena], Judy Ann [Dusty], seven grandchildren (Debbie, Christie, Denise, Justin, Lauren, Casey, Melissa), seven great grandchildren (Dominic, Ray, Katelyn, Haley, Amanda, Melissa, Jessica), and numerous nephews and nieces. A WWII Purple Heart and Bronze Star veteran, he was a member of the Northeast VFW, a retiree of White Sands Missile Range Transportation Logistics Dept., and member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
