Roberto "Beto" Ontiveros

Roberto Beto Ontiveros, age 66, succumbed to pancreatic cancer on Friday, August 19, 2016. Robert born in El Paso, Texas served in the US Air Force and was a proud Viet Nam Veteran. He retired from the US Postal Service after 27 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tata and Mickey Ontiveros. Robert is survived by his wife and companion of 40 years, Lourdes Cervantes Ontiveros; his son Robert, Jr. (Lily); and grandsons: Nathan, Jason and Michael. He is also survived by his sister Negra Dominguez (Johnny); and brothers: Tony (Stella) and Javier; and numerous nieces and nephews. Beto will always be remembered for his loving and kind spirit. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 9:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM, Monday, August 22, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 408 Park St. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
