Rodolfo Troncoso

Our beloved father, husband and brother Rodolfo Troncoso (80) died peacefully on September 18, 2015 at home in Ysleta. Rodolfo was born in Juarez, Mexico on September 3, 1935. He met the love of his life, Bertha Martinez, on April 24, 1953 in Monumento park in Juarez. They married on October 19, 1957 in the main Juarez cathedral. Rodolfo graduated from the university Escuela Superior de Agricultura, Hermanos Escobar, in May of 1965. Rodolfo worked for many years with various construction and engineering firms as an Engineer Technician and Draftsman in El Paso, finishing his career at the Hunt Building Corporation in 1988. Rodolfo is preceded in death by his adored mother Ninfa Gandarilla and father Santiago Troncoso. Sisters: Ninfa Sanchez, Olga Padilla, Yolanda Dena and Elvia Barragan. Brother: Hugo Troncoso. Granddaughter: Samantha Troncoso. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Bertha Troncoso. Daughter: Diana Cynthia Hosseini. Sons: Rodolfo Ariel, Sergio Arturo and Oscar Adrian. Sisters: Ada Arensdorf and Lourdes Xavier. Grandchildren: Fatemeh Hosseini, Jafar Hosseini, Ruhollah Hosseini, Zainab Hosseini and Mahdieh Hosseini; Aaron Drachman Troncoso and Isaac Drachman Troncoso; Caleb Oscar Troncoso and Joshua Adrian Troncoso. Great Grandchildren: Maryam Mohseni, Nur Mohseni and Aboss Mohseni. Rodolfo was an inspiration and role model to his family and friends. He will be best remembered for his devotion to his wife. They were able to enjoy each other’s company as they traveled to other parts of the world numerous times to various countries in Europe, the Caribbean and to their favorite destination, the Holy Land in Israel. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 22, 4:00 to 9:00 pm, at Sunset Funeral Home at 9521 North Loop Dr. Phone: (915) 858-4408. The rosary will be from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23 at 10:00 am at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Ysleta, 131 S. Zaragoza Rd. Phone: (915) 859-9848.
