Ronald Carpenter

Ronald “Ron” Carpenter, age 85, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 03, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed. Ron is preceded in death by his parents; Forrest Carpenter and Anna Knapp, his brother; Roger Carpenter, and his granddaughter; Carly Sacco. He is survived by his wife of 66 years; Kathryn Suzanne Carpenter, his children; Scott Carpenter, Stephanie Carpenter, Cathy Carpenter, Casey Carpenter, Kelley Carpenter-Conijn , and son-in-law Neal Conijn. In addition, he is survived by his sister; Judy O’Conner, his grandson; Arthur Sacco, as well as his great-grandchildren; Zoey, Michael, Emily, Marley, Rashad Jr., and Brylee. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.

Ron was a leader in the Automobile Industry, including as a Dealer in El Paso, TX, Las Cruces, NM, and Las Vegas, NV. Throughout his life, he was involved in many business ventures, but in the past 20 years, he was a successful Automobile Dealership Broker.

Ron was active for many years with the American Paint and American Quarter Show Horses, earning many championships. He was also a member of the El Paso Sheriffs' Posse since 1965.
