Rosa Ramos

Rosa Ramos passed away peacefully Saturday, March 19, 2016. Our mother was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a kind and generous heart. She loved and was loved by everyone she met. Her lifelong passion was for her family and friends. She was a devout Catholic who loved and served the Lord, she was a lifelong member of the Catholic Community. She is preceded in death by her father Hipolito Chavez, mother Amalia Ochoterena, husband Hilario Ramos Sr., sons, Hilario Ramos Jr., and David Ramos. Rosa is survived by her daughters, Maria Esparza, Emma Rosales, Gloria Taylor (Steve), Dolores Ramos, Patricia Ramos. She is also survived by her son, Robert Ramos (Laura), brother, Hipolito Chavez, sisters, Elisa Armendariz, and Demi Munoz, 8 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, Blanca Ramos, Andrea Warren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Rosa was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Peter Esparza, Abraham Esparza, Roberto Rosales, Esteban Rosales, Angel Rosales, Robert Ramos Jr., and Fernie Lechuga II. Honorary Pallbearers are Hilario Ramos Jr., and Eli Warren. We love you Mamasita with all our being. You are irreplaceable and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace our Rosa Linda! Visitation will be from 5:00pm-9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Mass of Resurrection will be said at 9:00am on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at 10:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
