Rosario "Chayo" Holguín

Rosario Holguín, age 77, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 24, 2025. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Rosario is preceded in death by her parents; Genaro Ruiz and Rosario Carrillo; her loving husband; Arturo Jose Holguin; and her siblings; Chavel Ruiz and Francisca Campos. She is survived by her dearest children; Adam Holguin and Arturo Diego Holguin; her siblings; Miguel Ruiz, Petra Munguia and Aurora Sanchez; and her grandson; Lorenzo Holguin. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, March 03, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 04, 2025 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 pm at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
