Ricardo Carrasco Duran, age 69 of El Paso Texas, passed away on February 11th 2026.
Ricardo was born on October 5th 1956 in El Paso Texas. He proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. His service to our country will be honored and remembered with gratitude. His Religious background was Catholicism. He believed in our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. He would say to repent & have the faith, Jesus is coming. Be Chipper! He loved all His Babies! Ricardo loved to cook homemade meals, loved to gather with family & friends at the grill, He enjoyed brisket, ribeyes, porterhouse steaks & another favorite 3 piece tenders from Popeyes! He had a sweet tooth for chocolate covered cherries & strawberry ice cream. Ricardo loved to drive Semi trucks and taught his younger siblings, kids & grandkids to drive. He had an immense passion for the road. He embraced the journey and viewed it as a form of sacred. In His words, “I can’t wait to be On The Road Again!” His community involvement was delivering loads of goods. Our Dad was known on the road as “Ricky Rocket,” that was a trucker through and through.
