Ruben Granados

Born July 24, 1951 to parents Maria and Elias Granados. He passed away Monday, November 28, 2022. Ruben was the second eldest of eight siblings, Rosa, Alicia, Alfredo, Patricia, Lupe, Carmen and Victor. He was a graduate of Bowie High School, Class of 1970. Married Rosalia S. Castruita in 1978 and was a loving father to two children, Cynthia and Ruben Jr., Father-in-law to Yuzuky. Grandpa to Madelyn and Saoirse. Beloved by extended family members, nieces, nephews, brother/sister-in-law. He was always hardworking from a young age. Ruben was the life of the party and he always put family first. He knew just how to make you laugh and smile with his jokes. Ruben lived a life worth living, by keeping friends and family close to him. We honor his memory and celebrate his life.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Monday, December 05, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December, 06, 2022 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1700 George Dieter.
