Rudy J. Herrera, 67, entered into eternal rest on April 24, 2026 in El Paso, Tx. Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Herrera and Amparo Esquivel. Brother, Frank and Angel. Sister, Amparo. Rudy is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Plaza Herrera. Son, Albert Anthony Heredia and daughter, Cynthia Soliz. Brothers, Danny and Eddie. Sisters, Dolores and Josie. Also leaving behind 6 grandchildren to honor and cherish his memory. Rudy was very loved and will always be missed.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 N. Loop Dr. El paso, Tx 79907. A Mass will then take place at 1:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 12200 Vista del Sol Dr, El Paso, TX 79936. After a Graveside at 3:00 p.m. at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
