Ruthie Kaufman

Ruth Ann (Ruthie) Kaufman, age 82, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 29, 2022. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. Her loving and affectionate personality will be greatly missed. Ruthie is preceded in death by her loving parents; Andrew O’Neal and Ruth Violet Randal, and her sister, Patricia Porter. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother Dorothy O’Neal and stepfather Dan Perrotta.

Ruthie was a graduate of Loretto Academy and stayed active with class reunions.  She attended community college for 3 years and became a medical clerk.  She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi in her early years and Epsilon Pi in her later years.  She enjoyed dining, shopping and playing scrabble with friends; traveling with family and in her own time, she enjoyed needlepoint and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her sons; David Kaufman (Leticia) and Michael Kaufman (Cheryl), brother Stanley O’Neal (Charlene), and sister Laura Jean Luce (John), as well as her grandchildren; Mark Kaufman, Oscar Kaufman, and Angela Kaufman. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 07, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home-West.
