Ryuko Tsujimura Baker, 94, of El Paso, passed away April 9, 2016, peacefully in her home, surrounded by family.
“Duke” was born in Vancouver, Canada. She was a homemaker who loved to cook for her family and eventually for her pet dachshund, Bella. She also loved to knit, but would leave certain projects unfinished because she “couldn’t be bothered.” Her ready smile and graceful laughter will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Frank C. Baker, and her loving daughter, Cheryl J. Heller (Maurice †). She is survived by her two sons Frank Baker (Hanna) & Thomas Baker (Cristy); her four grandchildren Sarah Peña Heller (Marcos), Meagan Heller, Lindsay Baker, Joshua Baker; and her great-grandson Jackson. She is also survived by her two sisters Reiko Meagher and Tsune Suenaga (Jim).
Committal Service will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, April 18, 2016 at 1:00PM. Relatives and friends are welcomed to gather, in her home, immediately following the service.
