Samuel "Sammy" Jimenez

Samuel Jimenez, 68, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 11, 2026. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elias Jimenez and Bertha Castillo, and his son, Daniel Solis. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Bertha Jimenez, his beloved children, Valerie Jimenez, Sammy (Joann) Jimenez, Jimmy (Gloria) Jimenez, Jennifer (Ruben) Moncayo, Randy Jimenez, Oscar Solis, and Edna Solis. His siblings are Sandra (Gilbert) Granillo, Fernando Jimenez, and Priscilla (Ruben) Escobedo; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 34 nieces & nephews; and 51 great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends to cherish and honor his memory.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Homes-West, with a Holy Rosary to commence at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, April 20, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 4006 Hidden Way, 79922. Graveside service to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Road, Santa Teresa, NM 88008
