Samuel Tilles

Sgt. Samuel Tilles, formerly of Storrs, Connecticut died October 23, 2015 in Horizon City, Texas. He attended E.O. Smith High School in Storrs and Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. He was a combat veteran of Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division and Afghanistan with the 124th Stryker Division. He is survived by his wife Marvaline, his daughters Felicia and Jazil, all of El Paso Texas; his father David Tilles and grandfather Soloman Tilles of Middletown, Connecticut; uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends around the world. Visitation will be held from 5pm-9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 12:30pm Monday, November 2, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 2pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
