Sara Pacheco

Sara Pacheco died on Wednesday June 29th 2016 in El Paso Texas, after a long illness. Sara was born July 27th, 1929 in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, and moved to El Paso in 1955 with her husband Juan Pacheco. She was a charming, warm, and feisty woman, and a devoted wife and mother. She worked hard her whole life. Sara loved the 1959 song “Personality” and it fit her perfectly: “Cause you’ve got Charm, personality Love, personality And plus you've got A great big heart” Sara leaves her son, John Pacheco, and his wife Suzanne; her sisters, Egla Munoz, Rebeca Valdovinos, Abigail Lazo, Rosa Acosta, Olivia Hernandez, Lydia Nunez, Irma Acosta, and brothers Chio Acosta and Gamma Acosta, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Juan Pacheco, in 2009, and sisters Maria Vela and Esper Acosta. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 9521 North Loop Drive, El Paso, TX on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Vigil Service at 7:00pm.
