SARAH MARIE MARQUEZ passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the age of 17 of a high grade undifferentiated sarcoma , an extremely rare childhood cancer of the soft tissue. Sarah was a smart , beautiful honor student at Austin High School and was to enter her senior year. She loved art and dreamed of going to Japan to see the cherry blossoms. She is survived by her parents Courtney and Larry Marquez, her sister Jenny Marquez, her grandmother Sharon Berryhill, and her Aunt and Uncle Bertha and Ernest Coca. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Rite of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Patrick's Cathedral. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley in Santa Teresa, NM.
