Sean Stephen Trahan, 53, was called home on Friday, January 16, 2026, leaving behind a family forever changed by his absence and forever grateful for his love. Sean was a devoted son, a cherished brother, a loyal friend, and a presence whose warmth, humor, and creativity filled every room he entered. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Sean is survived by his parents, Alto John and Jennifer Trahan; and his siblings: Dana Michelle Enos (Dan), Mary Daugherty (Jason), Julie Trahan, Myles Trahan, Paul Trahan, Regina Bauer (Nick), Anne Marie Dean (Jeremiah), and Colin Trahan (Savannah). He also leaves behind 25 nieces and nephews whom he absolutely adored and who brought him endless joy.
Sean’s love for music was legendary—none of his 25 nieces and nephews in the family went without a Rolling Stones onesie, a small but meaningful way he shared his passion. His love for animals was just as genuine; any four-legged friend he met felt it immediately. Known for his unmatched wit and humor, Sean had a way of making people laugh even in the hardest moments. His incredible artistic talent continually amazed those around him, leaving behind not only artwork, but memories of awe and admiration. Sean lived with heart, creativity, and laughter, and his spirit will live on through the many lives he touched.
He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will continue to cherish and honor his memory, particularly his cousins Shannon and Carey Brady, with whom he shared an exceptional bond.
Pallbearers include: Shannon Brady, Carey Brady, Colin Trahan, Robert Diaz, Nick Bauer, Dominic Hinojosa, and Carter Bauer.
