Servando Moises Blanco

Servando M. Blanco, 78, passed away on December 8, 2015. He was born in El Paso, Texas on May 16, 1937. Servando joined the El Paso Police Department at the age of 21, in 1958. His successful career culminated as Deputy Chief of Police and he retired in 1987. He was a dedicated police officer, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Anita; daughters: Christine Blanco Bonicoro, Esther Velazquez (and her husband Stephan) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Barbara Blanco Chorley, Andrea Tolliver (and her husband Michael); beloved granddaughter, Alexandria; and grandsons: Joshua and Jacob. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed traveling and his daily walks at the mall. Rest well Servie; you will be missed.
