Silvia Alonzo Resendiz, 69, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2024 in El Paso, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, Ismael Resendiz and sister, Alicia Resendiz. Silvia is survived by her beloved husband, Francisco Guerrero Alonzo Sr. Her son, Kenny Iglesias (Tasha Hardwood) and daughter, Dixy Iglesias. Mother, Maria Torres. Her brother, Victor Resendiz; sisters, Maria Resendiz and Paulina Carrasco. Also leaving behind 1 grandchild, Remiel Iglesias along with her stepchildren and grandchildren, Francisco and Laura Alonzo (Andrea Alonzo and Miguel Alonzo), Bill and Patricia Prasher ( Janis Rose Prasher and Abigail Kaelyn Prasher), Angelica Lozoya Alonzo (Aaron Lozoya), Bryan Lozoya and Karina Rodarte (Damon Elijah Lozoya), Kayla Marie Palafox, Jaime and Claudia Alonzo (Jaime Jaziel Alonzo) to honor and cherish her memory. Silvia was very loved and will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Graveside will follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, TX 79906. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
