She had 13 Great Grandchildren: Dante, Estevan Joel, Santino, Vicente, Melanie, Arista, Joshua Esaiu, Joel Anthony, Israel, Lydia, Aaden, Jenavee, & Major. Plus, Nieces and Nephews that were very close to her.
Siria was born in Cantuna Sain Alto, Zacatecas Mexico. Her journey brought her to Talihina, Oklahoma where she had her children and she settled in El Paso, Texas. She was one of eight siblings and very close to her nieces and nephews always on the phone we would say. People most remember her for her caring heart and willingness to help with whatever she could. Her food could heal the soul and make everyone feel better no matter what issues, heartaches, or troubles were faced. Siria was a good mother, the best grandmother, and an amazing great grandma (aka Lita). She devoted her life to making sure we all had what we needed. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren brought her so much joy in life. Her smile could light up the room, her laugh was contagious, and she was one of the most beautiful souls in this world. We were blessed to learn many things from her how to love, how to cook, how to help, and how to pray to have faith. She was an amazing prayer warrior daily she was the one whose prayers kept you safe. A previous Pope stated, “Virgin Mary is a sweet and reassuring presence. In her discreet style, she gives everyone peace and hope, both in the happy and sad Moments in life.” Siria always followed and prayed to our sweet Virgin and that quote also holds true to how she lived her life to be close to God and watched over her children. She would always say do not cry for me, just pray and now that’s what we will do to honor her. Dios Te Bendiga y Mucho Cuidado a todos she would always say.
