Socorro B. Gonzalez

Socorro B. Gonzalez, age 93, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Socorro is preceded in death by her parents; Jose Barron and Trinidad Hernandez; and her loving husband; Fernando Santos Gonzalez. She is survived by her dearest children; Soledad Gonzalez and Jose Gonzalez; and her grandchildren; Carolina Valle (Eric Zheng) and Rebeca Valle. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907. A Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 2, 2025 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd, El Paso, TX 79936. A Graveside will follow at 2:30 PM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
