Sonia G. Munoz

Sonia G. Munoz, age 87, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Sonia is preceded in death by her parents; Efrain Munoz Blanco and Maria Rivera, as well as her brothers; Rene Munoz and Oracio Munoz. She is survived by her son; James Johnson (Elsa), her sister; Yvonne Munoz, her grandchildren; Elsa Gabriela Rosas, Roberto Lopez, and Marcela Lopez, her great-grandchildren; Santiago Rosas and Mateo Rosas, her nieces and nephews; Carla Gonzalez, Fernando Anzaldo, and Brian Lossi as well as her great nieces and nephews; Angel Mendez, Aiden Gonzalez, Sophia Anzaldo, and Ethan Anzaldo. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

Pallbearers include: Fernando Anzaldo, Brian Lossi, James Johnson, Roberto Lopez, and Byron Lossi.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 03, 2023 with a Holy Rosary to commence at 6:00pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-West.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am on May 04, 2023 at St. Luke Catholic Church; 930 E. Redd Rd. El Paso, Texas 79912.
