Sudie Ford Burner of Clint, Texas, following a long and fulfilling life, passed away in El Paso, Texas on November 17, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.  Rosary will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11:00 am with the Funeral Mass following at 11:30 am at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Clint, Texas. A Graveside will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa NM, 88008.

Sudie was born on August 25, 1945 to Jack and Monica Ford in El Paso, Texas.   She graduated from Loretto Academy in 1963.  Sudie married her soul mate, Jess Burner Jr., on January 18, 1964.  After the wedding Sudie and Jess moved to Montana to work in the family cattle operation. Though they greatly enjoyed their time in Montana, they returned to West Texas to start their family.  This union of 58 years was blessed with four children and nine grandchildren.  Our Granny’s favorite past time was quail hunting with Jess, cooking for her family, painting, sewing, and loving on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Family was a treasure for her, and it was always apparent how much she loved us all and supported us with her whole heart.  As a devoted Catholic, Sudie was a woman filled with faith, her love of the Lord was always well known.

Sudie is preceded in death by her parents.  Survivors include her loving husband, Jess Burner Jr. Children, Brandy and Ray Owen, Jess F Burner, Brenda and Steve Johnson, and Beth and Jim Blain Kenney.  Grandchildren, Justin Owen, Kylie Owen, Jessica and Brian Hirt, Macayla and Peyton Schaefer, Breanne and Brody Halfmann, Lauren and Mark Kaspar, Drew Johnson, Jax Kenney, and Jade Kenney, along with seven great grandchildren.  Siblings, Jacqueline and Jerome Weilmuenster and Dick Ford and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include grandsons and grandsons-in-law.  Honorary pallbearers are Tony Holdman and Michael Holdman.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of El Paso.
