Susan Harriet Kamoroff

SUSAN HARRIET KAMOROFF passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the age of 76. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and will be dearly missed. Susan taught special education for 22 years in the El Paso Independent School District at Western Hills Elementary. She was a voracious reader, loved to beat you at a friendly game of Scrabble, and always had a strong opinion. After she retired from teaching, she spent many years traveling the world with her husband. She especially enjoyed the symphony, basketball games, playing Scrabble, and book club with her friends. She will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband Frank Kamoroff, daughters Cindy Kamoroff and her husband Barry Blanchette, Elizabeth Jackson and her husband Bill Jackson, son Steven Kamoroff and his wife Maya Frohlichman, her sisters Frances Theodor, Laura Mandelbaum and her grandchildren:Wyatt, Adam, Margo, Haia and Eitan. Special thanks to the staff at Royal Estates and her longtime physician, Dr. Chesboro. Donations can be made to any cancer society or Alzheimer's association. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 10:00AM at Temple Mt. Sinai Krupp Chapel, 4408 N. Stanton, with Rabbi Benjamin Zeidman officiating.
