Sylvia Anne Dickerson

Sylvia Ann Dickerson, AKA as Sylvie, 64, went to Heaven on October 03, 2022 where she gained her angel wings.  She was born on June 08, 1958, in El Paso, Texas to Adrian and Catherine Gonzalez.

She is preceded in death by her parents Adrian and Catherine Gonzalez, her many aunts and uncles, cousins and all her grandparents.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Verlin Ray Dickerson Jr., stepson; Verlin Ray Dickerson III, daughter in law; Elizabeth Dickerson and grandson; Carter Ray Dickerson brothers; Adrian and Steve Gonzalez, sister in law; Julie Gonzalez nephews; Daniel and Julian Gonzalez, nieces; Zoe Gonzalez and Amanda Dickerson (Nathan)   Mother in law; Betty Dickerson  sisters in law; Laura Dickerson Price and Carol Dickerson along with numerous cousins and friends that were special in her heart and her support beside her family through her battle was her fur baby Sammy (Samson Dickerson).

Sylvie graduated from Austin High School in 1976.  After graduation she joined her father’s CPA Firm.  After a few years she decided to strike out on her own and became self employed in accounting and bookkeeping where she served many happy clients.  Many of her favorite things were Hearts, Kinkade Artwork Beaches, reading, travel, nature hikes and watching scary movies with her beloved husband, and she loved decorating her house for every holiday.  Sylvie was one of a kind whose smile would light up any room she was in or entering.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with Reflections at 5:00pm on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.
