Synthia Zeller went home to be with the Lord on November 19, 2025 at the age of 57, after her yearlong battle with blood cancer. Synthia spent her final days surrounded by her loving husband, children, and family.
Synthia was born on December 16, 1967 in Port Hueneme, California to Carlos and Jesse Carrasco. She met her husband Damon while working at the State Line and they were married on January 20, 1999.
Synthia lived by the motto, I am strong because a strong woman raised me. She learned this by the examples that her mom displayed throughout her life, especially during her fight with cancer. Synthia worked over 30 years at the State Line restaurant and managed the Side Door Liquor Store.
Synthia had a passion for running, baking, reading, and spending time with family. Her family is comforted by the endless memories that they shared together. Synthia’s beautiful personality and presence will be missed by everyone.
Synthia is survived by: her father Carlos Carrasco; her husband, Damon; her children Margaret, Garret, and Juliet; her siblings Celeste Carrasco (Reuben Ontiveros), Christopher (Laura) Carrasco, and Stephanie (Donald) Diaz; and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her mom Jesse Carrasco.
