Thomas R.L. Glover

Thomas Ross Lee Glover, 71, passed away April 6, 2015. Thomas R.L. Glover was born on April 4, 1944. He graduated from Parks College. Before college however Thomas R.L. Glover played professional football in the NFL for the New York Titans (Old AFL team). Thomas decided after 2 years and during the draft that the military was calling him to a greater purpose. Thomas served 20 years for the US Army. Thomas worked for VFW he was a commander, Recruiter, quarter master and he held numerous positions within the last decade. He retired from the VFW in 2014. He loved to garden, collect coins, fish, camp, and spend time with his family. A Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 9:30am on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
