Early life

Traude was born in Wolfsberg, Austria on March 4th, 1947. She enjoyed ice skating and dancing. Fearless and always ready for adventure. 

Later years

Traude came to visit her sister in El Paso from Germany and never went back. She met a man at the Fort Bliss Oktoberfest and fell in love. They were married shortly after and had a marriage filled with love, compassion and happiness. <3

Traude was preceded in death by her parents Franz and Maria Pertl, her brothers and sister, Rudi, Heli, Fredi and Dorli and her husband Gregorio F. Olague. She is survived by her daughter Vanessa, her son in law Ryan, her grandchildren- Autumn and Austin, and her best friend Hazel Gibson. We all miss you so much. 

Committal Service will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery 5200 Fred Wilson.
