Trinidad Estrada

Trinidad V. Estrada, 91, loving great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, aunt, sister and friend was called home by our Lord on Friday January 1, 2016. She was surrounded by family as she took her last breath. Born in Canutillo in 1924, she became a lifetime resident of El Paso. As a devoted housewife and grandmother, she cared for all her grandkids and enjoyed having all her children and grandchildren over for her great home cooking. She is preceded in death by her husband; Pedro G. Estrada, daughter-in-law; Grace Estrada, sister; Fermina Almeraz, brother; Baldomero Velasquez, and brother; Cesario Velasquez. She is survived by her brother, Carlos Velasquez and her loving children: Magdalena E. (Armando) Molina, Yolanda Estrada (Roberto Holguin), Juan Estrada, Jorge (Ana) Estrada, 12 Grandchildren and 20 Great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Eric Molina, Johnny Estrada, Gabriel Estrada, Joseph Estrada, Matthew Estrada, Marco Estrada, and Michael Estrada. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 5 , 2016 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 9521 N. Loop Dr. El Paso, Texas with Rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Americas.
