Velen Yanez Garcia Jr., 50. lovingly known as Uncle Nuni, by his nephew, Erik Drake Earsley and his niece Mackenzie Phynix Garcia Earsley, will be missed beyond description. After the loss of their grandpa Velen, Sr., he stepped up to the plate so that they would know they still have family that loves and cares about them dearly and became the best uncle they will ever have. Not only was Nuni a great uncle but became again the most amazing big brother a little sister could ask for, reminding me why as a little girl after our mom passed away he was my hero. Save a place for me, bro, we'll see each other again. You're finally at peace and at home. Your little sister, along with your nephew and niece will miss you but we'll never forget you.
