Veronica "Vera" Marie Kastrin

Veronica “Vera” Kastrin, 86, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2007, in El Paso. She was a long time resident of El Paso and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved being a homemaker, growing flowers, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Alex Kastrin. She is survived by daughters: Sharon Vass and husband, Charles and Peggy Colgrove and husband, Duane; grandchildren: Melissa Sulak, Robert Colgrove, Jason Johnston, and Micheal Colgrove; great grandchildren: Tatianna Sulak, Caleb Colgrove, and Nicholas Sulak; sister, Judy Fisher; brothers, Lawrence and Bill Klement; as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation with The Family of Mrs. Vass will be held from 6-8 pm with a Rosary to begin at 7 PM, Monday, January 29, 2007, at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Graveside Service and Interment will begin at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the El Paso Child Crisis Center.
