Veronica Ortega Rodarte

VERONICA ORTEGA RODARTE passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the age of 50. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her mother Maria Elena Ortega and her brother Richard Daniel Ortega. She is survived by her father Joe “Woody” Ortega, her husband Paul Oyston, her loving sons; Randy Vincent Rodarte, Ryan Jared Martinez, Richard Anthony Martinez, her siblings; Gloria Ortega Kearns, Gracie Ortega Chavez (Tommy), Joe David Ortega, God Parents Luis Sr. and Martha Ontiveros and many nephews and nieces. She was a 1985 graduate of Burges High School and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology from Park University. She worked for Safeway and Furr’s Supermarket for many years and then pursued a career with the El Paso County Juvenile Probation Department. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 10:00AM at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina. Inurnment will be held privately by family.
