Victor Manuel Casillas
After a brave fight against cancer, Victor Manuel Casillas passed away peacefully in his home on October 30th 2016 in El Paso, TX. Victor, born in Cd. Juarez to Luis Curiel Casillas and Esther Garcia, was an avid fisherman and hunter. Victor’s curiosity of this world led him to travel throughout Mexico, Texas, and California. Victor was a devoted family man, and was known as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. With a strong spirit, Victor fought the devastating disease that has claimed many. He is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, three children, and five grandchildren. Victor will be remembered for his humor, infectious laughter, and deep love for his family. Victor graced the world with his presence for 75 years, and it is with heavy hearts that his family must say good bye to one of the greatest men it will ever know. “A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space.” Visitation: 4:00-9:00 pm (rosary at 7:30 pm) Thursday November 3rd at Sunset Funeral Home, 750 N Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass: 1:00 pm Friday November 4th at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 7712 Rosedale St. Committal Service to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
