March 21, 1941— January 25, 2023

Victor Franco Jr., 81, beloved husband, dad, grandfather, brother, and friend, went to his final rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Victor will be greatly missed by his wife of 47 years – Mary; children – Monica and Melissa (Hector); grandsons – Isaiah, Emilliano, and Victoriano; siblings – Antonia, Marcelino (Tina), and David (Gina); numerous nieces, nephews, primos, and innumerable friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor C. and Juana M. Franco.

Victor was a lifelong resident of Clint/El Paso and an active member of San Lorenzo Catholic Church. He proudly served in the United States Army and was deeply involved with the Clint Veterans’ group that ensured no soldier was ever forgotten. 

After graduating from Clint High School as a member of the FFA, Victor worked for Peyton Packing and retired as a Cattle Buyer after 15 years.  He later started his own businesses – 3M Livestock and Victor Franco Trucking – until 2013 when he decided to retire and focus on his ranchito to leave a legacy for his family. 

He was a widely respected and well-known figure in the Lower Valley community because he believed a stranger was just a friend he hadn’t met yet.  He lived his faith by caring for his family, his fellow man, and his community in any way he could. His cherished memory will be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers: Isaiah Franco, Emilliano Quesada, Victoriano Quesada, Hector Flores, Omar Rios, Philip Franco, Patrick Franco.  Honorary Pallbearers: Saia Rios, Dusty Franco, PJ Franco, Seth Rios, Isla Franco, and Samuel Rios.

Public Visitation and Rosary: Monday, February 6, 2023 - 5:00-9:00 p.m./ Rosary: 7:00 p.m. at San Lorenzo Church, 611 Avenida de San Lorenzo, Clint

Funeral Mass - Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. - San Lorenzo Church, Clint.

Graveside Inurnment: - Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson, El Paso
