Victor A. Gonzalez

Victor A. Gonzalez, 87, passed away peaceful surrounded by his family on Monday, February 24, 2014. He was a long time resident of Chaparral, New Mexico. Victor made a career in the Army, served honorably during WWII and the Korean Conflict, he retired as a Master Sergeant. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Isabel Aguilar; daughters: Sylvia Goldie (Tom), Elsa Torres, Dora Gonzalez, Sandra Gonzalez (Arthur), Norma Gonzalez, Petra Ramirez ( Joseph); sons: Victor Gonzalez, Jr. (Lydia), Juan Gonzalez (Socorro), Felipe Gonzalez (Christina), Jose Gonzalez (Susan), Juan Rodriguez, Eduardo Rodriguez; brother, Joseph Charl; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:30am on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
