VICTOR ARGUMEDO ZAVALA, 94, born 10-07-18, a caring, loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather went to be with our Lord on Friday, October 4, 2013. Victor, also known as “Chito”, enjoyed playing softball and watching boxing matches. He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad after 35 years of service. He was also honorably discharged WWII Veteran. He was a member of Lady of Our Light Catholic Church ( Dolan Street). He is Survived by his wife, Emma M. Zavala, three children: Yolanda Williams (Woodman), Victor G. Zavala ( Yolanda), and Rodolfo Zavala (Claudia); Grandchildren in El Paso: Avril E. Zavala and Benjamin R. Zavala; from Ocala, FL: Woodle III ( Jennifer), David (Heather), and Kathleen Williams; Great- grandchildren: Morgan, Logan, Emery, and Kacey Williams; Florida. He was also survived by his sister Maria Elena Alvidrez and numerous relatives, nieces, and nephews. Our deepest gratitude extends to all staff members from Choice Hospice for their help and assistance making Dad’s days comfortable To all those doctors and staff who gave their best in providing medical care all these years, and Don Francisco Villalba for his daily kindness and gentleness in caring for our Dad. THANK YOU! Assisting as Pallbearers will be members of the family. A Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil at 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home East. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45am on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church ( Dolan Chapel). Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
