Victoria Del Rio York

On May 6, our beloved Victoria Del Rio York was welcomed into Heaven to be reunited with her loving husband Richard and her mother, Victoria. Known to many as “Vicky” or “Yorkie” she has left an indelible impact on hundreds of staff and fellow educators. As well as countless numbers of students she taught over her 43 years as an educator, mentor, and dear friend. In her 83-year journey with us here, she was and still is, our inspiration and motivation to push forward no matter what challenges are faced.

As the eldest child of her parents, she is survived by her loving siblings Mary, Georgette, George, Janet, Yvonne, and Samuel, to all she always kept a “Big Sister” protective eye over.

She is deeply missed by her surviving children and grandchildren. Her son Brian, his wife Cathy and their children Connor, Ethan, Ashlyn, and Matthew. Her daughter Erin, her husband Brian and their daughter Remi.

A graveside service for Vicky will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, located at 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., 79906. Where she will be laid to rest and reunited with her always dependable and faithful Richard “Dicky”.
