Vincent “Scooby” Frataccia, 72, of El Paso, Texas, was taken to our lord on August 18, 2013. So he could go fishing and hunting at his leisure.
Vince was born in Syracuse, New York on December 13, 1940. Vince was married to Judith Anne on February 29, 1964; they were married 49 years and are still very much in love, and they call El Paso home.
Vince served in the United States Army for 26 years and retired as a Sargent Major. He then continued to serve his country in the civil service for another ten years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also actively involved in Girl Scouts of America, and was a lifetime member of the VFW, Number 8550.
Vince is survived by his wife Judith Anne, daughters and son in laws Lori and Bob Mena, and Debra and Brian Hemmerling. Grandchildren: Krystal and Jason Menchey, Tasha Montorello, and Christopher and Sarah Montorello, and Teal, Chad, and Ian Hemmerling. Great grandchildren Kirsten, Kaylee, Zayden, Autumn, and Kyndall, and there are many more family and friends he loved.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Thursday, August 22, 2013. Committal Service will be held at 11:30am, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Please visit on-line register book at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net
