Violet R. Dickerson

Violet R. Dickerson, 97, passed away on May 19, 2014. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and retired as a school teacher. She was a dedicated member of Mountain View Baptist Church and a member of The Military Officers Association. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Retired Lieutenant Colonel, Paul S. Dickerson and her son John Paul Dickerson. She is survived by her Daughter, Betty Marie Simonelli and her son in law, Colonel Joseph Simonelli; sister, Bettye Cortez. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be from 9:30am to 12:30am on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 1:00pm on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
