She had 12 siblings: Beatriz Valle, Rufina Maez, Hortencia Brickle, Luisa Cuña, Genoveva Brusuelos, Carolina Rodriguez, Carmen Maesse, Dolores Moya, Manuel, Salvador, and Francisco Martinez. Vivi grew up in Alamogordo, New Mexico where she met her husband Ramiro Gonzalez in 1955 at a dance. They then moved to El Paso, Texas where she dedicated herself to raising their four children: Orlando, Ramiro Jr.(Jo), Olga, and Irma(Hector). She was a member of the Rusk School and was also as a teacher’s assistant. She was deeply religious and was involved in Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in the church’s choir. Vivi is survived by her husband Ramiro; their four children; grandchildren: Joseph, Stephen, Sabrina, Andrew, and Gregory; step grandchildren, Yvonne and Amanda; and two great grandchildren, Zara and James.
