Virginia (Ginger) Estrada passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. She was born on November 6, 1957 in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Riverside High School, Class of 1976, where she was a member of the Riverside Rangerettes. She was employed for 13 years at Texas Department of Health and Human Services. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Guadalupe (Lupe) Estrada. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jennifer Teresa Schmidt, son-in-law, Jabez Rubio, her precious grandson, Jacob Anthony Rubio, step-grandson, Diego Jesus Rubio, sister, Teresa (Terri) Morales, nephew and godson, Justin Alfred Morales, niece, Erin Elizabeth Carnero, her husband, Jose Carnero, great-nephews, Joel Christian Carnero and Lucas Lorenzo Carnero, and numerous relatives and friends.
Gathering of Remembrance will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Homes - East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2025 at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa. A private burial will follow.
