Wendy Varela passed away on September 18, 2017 at the age of 31. She is survived by her parents, Luis and Juana Varela; son, Sebastian Marquez, Jr.; daughters, Christine Espin, Breceida Espin, and Astrid Marquez; brother, Luis Varela; and sisters, Maribel Medina and Blanca Attaguile. A visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas on Friday, September 22, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A mass will be held the following day at San Elizario Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
