William “Bill” Bedaro, 80, passed away on June 2, 2014 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was born and raised in New Jersey later to become a resident of El Paso, Texas. As a young man, Bill joined and honorable served our country in the U.S. Army for 30 years.
His bravery during the Vietnam War earned him a Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnamese Cross of Galantry with Palm. While serving in the U.S. Army he had also earned a National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Air Medal. After his discharge, he went on to retire from Pinkerton Security.
Bill never met a stranger and was known for his generosity to anyone he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife, Irma Bedaro; children, Ricardo Rios, Jeannette Flack, Rene Rios, and Marie Valdez; grandchildren, Melissa, Macy, Gabriel, Erica (preceded in death), Mandy, Jessica, Carlos, Joey, Anee, and Bre; great grandchildren, Brandon, Angelina, Alicia, Michael, Destiny, Boy, and Soledad.
