William Frank Jones

William (Bill) Frank Jones, born December 21, 1929, passed away on October 9, 2015. Bill, a man loved by many for his great loyalty and integrity was born in Hartselle, AL to Otis Roy Jones and Madgelene Hoelscher. He joined the Army; spending 28 years growing from private to Sargent Major with 2 tours in the Korean War and one in the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Army he worked 18 years for Beneficial Finance and 10 years volunteering for William Beaumont Hospital. Bill’s most enjoyable times were spending time on the porch with family and friends. Bill is preceded in death by Barbara his wife of 55 years, his mother, father and brother Robert Jones. He is survived by his sister Beverly Jones (Harvey); his 2 sons, William (Bill) Jones his wife Lisa and their 3 children Sean, Alysson her husband Lance Miller and son Bryson, and Emily Jones; and Joseph Jones, wife Marybeth and her daughter Kristi and son John; and also by his 2 daughters Jean Jones and her daughter Mia; and Robin Scott and her husband John and son Gage; with many nieces and nephews in Indiana and Alabama. Prayer Services will begin at 12:30pm on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 2:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
