William Milton Moyer

William M. Moyer “Cowboy” entered into the hand of his Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Born in Auburn, Pennsylvania on July 4, 1934 to Wilbur and Sarah Moyer, he spent his early years farming his parents’ farm, fishing, and playing baseball “ball” with friends. William was drafted by the US Army in 1956 where he was stationed at Ft Bliss Army Base in El Paso, TX. He began working for Civil Service in 1963 and worked at McGregor Range for 29 years before retiring in 1992, where he was lovingly known as “Cowboy”. After retirement, he kept busy traveling with family, working on his house, and watching St Louis Cardinals baseball games. William was a man of honor, integrity, and devoted his life to his 4 loving children whom he raised and adored and they adored him. It has been his children’s great honor and privilege to be able to call William M Moyer their Dad. Words cannot describe how much he will be greatly missed!

Preceded in death by his beloved parents Wilbur and Sarah Moyer of Auburn, PA his oldest daughter Donna Jean Moyer, and infant Daniel Moyer. William is survived by his loving children son; Jim Moyer and daughters; Nancy and Joanne Moyer (El Paso, TX). He also leaves behind to cherish his memory 2 beloved grandchildren Misty Cook and Chad Moyer and a great-granddaughter Emily Cook.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 12:45pm on Tuesday, July 05, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast 4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Committal Service to follow at 1:00pm at Fort  Bliss National  Cemetery (West Shelter).  Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.  Please visit his online memorial at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net.
